Focus Home Interactive e Spiders Games hanno pubblicato un nuovo trailer per The Technomancer, il nuovo gioco di ruolo in salsa sci-fi che ci cala su Marte cento anni dopo il primo insediamento degli umani sul pianeta. Il filmato ci introduce alle prime location e pericoli che incontreremo durante l’avventura. Attraverso questi ambienti il giocatore dovrà scoprire un segreto che potrebbe alterare il pianeta e i suoi abitanti per sempre, tallonati nel mentre da un corpo di polizia corrotto. The Technomancer uscirà su PlayStation 4, Xbox One, e PC quest’estate.

Se ho capito bene non dovrebbe essere direttamente un sequel ma essere ambientato nello stesso universo. Cmq leggermente OT Mars: War Logs com'e'?

Ho riguardato in giro e non ho trovato niente. Dice solo che e' ambientato durante "la guerra dell'acqua". Qualcuno ha giocato a Mars e sa se veniva citata? Cosi' solo per curiosita' non che poi la cosa abbia molta importanza.

Si, è un prequel. Aspettative basse in ogni caso.
L'ambientazione al solito non sembra male, speriamo ci infilino anche un gioco dentro questa volta.

Si, senza infamie particolari e poca lode. Faceva ben sperare per il futuro, peccato che poi il loro titolo successivo abbia poi mantenuto gli stessi identici difetti. :facepalm:

Mars: War Logs era caruccio tutto sommato. Breve e limitato sicuramente, ma nel suo piccolo si lasciava giocare con piacere.
e aveva anche un paio di scelte molto pesanti
ci vedevo un gran potenziale parzialmente frenato dalla vistosissima mancanza di sgehi, bel lore anche se embrionale, combat nella sufficienza, trama non folgorante ma discreta, secondo me è da fare, divertente
questo pare un po' meno povero, vedremo

Non è mica brutto. Piuttosto il problema è buond by flame.
The Technomancer è un prequel può anche giocarselo, anche se poi sarà più difficile apprezza Mars :asd: (in b4 The Techomancer farà ancora più schifo tecnicamente)

The Technomancer, the sci-fi RPG set on Mars, releases on June 28 and will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. We previously showed a Gameplay Trailer giving you an overview of the gameplay mechanics of the title, as well as a Companions trailer showing all the interactions and relationships you can build with your teammates. Today, we're unveiling a brand new video that will teach you how to Survive on Mars.
With its terraforming aborted hundreds of years ago, and a murderous sun to boot, the Red Planet isn't exactly a hospitable place, and every nook and cranny of the forsaken planet holds deadly, lurking threats. Just like these hybrid creatures roaming the canyons of Mars, originally bioengineered by the first settlers from the genetic makeup of animals found on Earth. But the other human survivors can be just as dangerous. Ever since Mars got isolated from Earth, multiple factions have risen, desperate and determined to secure whatever power they may get hold of. You will be able to befriend these factions depending on your actions and your choices throughout the story.
Thankfully, you have all the tools to survive this harsh environment. While a diplomatic or a stealthy approach can be the best choice to escape from a perilous situation, sometimes combat is the only way, and the use of your devastating Technomancer powers will be crucial. Each of your powers can be upgraded by spending points in the skill tree, but they also all have access to two mutually exclusive upgrades, changing the way the power behaves. These upgrades, coupled with your handpicked special talents and choice of equipment and crafting components, will heavily influence your combat strategy, and overall playstyle.
Your technomancy powers compliment your chosen combat stance: fight with the Staff, the signature of a Technomancer; with a blade and gun, the mark of a rogue; or a mace and shield, the weapons favoured by soldiers. Just like with technomancy, each of these three stances has its own skill tree, where you can gain new skills, but also improve them through different upgrade paths.
Upgrading your arsenal is equally important. You will find, loot and buy better weapons and armor. Each has its own bonuses, and some also have crafting slots, allowing you to further improve their stats according to your preferences and playstyle. You'll be able to improve damage, resistance, as well as add various special effects such as disruption, resistance to specific damage types, energy regeneration, and more. Improving your crafting talent and learning new construction plans will let you craft more powerful gear.

In teoria ricordandomi vagamente Kotor potrebbe essere interessante.
Le scelte importanti nella story potrebbero accennare a the witcher....
Speriamo abbia una qualche profondità oltre al combat :asd:

E questo mi dispiace davvero tanto.
Peccato, mi sarebbe piaciuto giocarlo e se non fosse stato per il buonsenso che mi ha colpito fortissimo sulla capoccia nei giorni scorsi, l'avrei preso appena subito dopo l'uscita.
Mi sa che ora a sto punto il gioco può aspettare un po'. Tipo qualche sconticino. Pesantino.
combat system che definire legnoso e' un complimento, scelte da fare e che paiono sembrare profonde ce ne sono molte, peccato che poi non abbiano la minima influenza sul gioco

a parte il salto tecnico/grafico, mi sembra sosteniate che abbia gli stessi limiti di mars war logs il quale però (IMHO) come trama non era male e il cui lore faceva presagire dei seguiti
lo prendo a breve e poi critico (il gioco e la vostra race :asd:)
È leggermente più curato di Mars War Logs, ma tutto l'impianto narrativo fa acqua da ogni parte, i personaggi sono delle macchiette, e il combattimento è ripetitivo e buggato.
A me diapisce molto che sia così perché l'ambientazione ha molte potenzialità, ma tutto il resto rasenta la mediocrità o è al più passabile.
Poi quando lo prenderai ne discuteremo in maniera più approfondita. :)
