The Matrix Resurrections is the kind of film that will go down in cult history because it is so laughably bad. Truthfully, I can’t even say it’s unenjoyable because I spent so much of its overly long runtime giggling over how jaw-droppingly misguided the majority of it is. And, even with how rough it is, folks looking for that nostalgia will get exactly what they’re looking for. Granted, it’s exciting to see Neo and Trinity again, and the new players are exciting additions to a complicated canon. At the same time, so many good ideas (and the visual effects) are met with truly shoddy execution and an unbearable desire to be constantly meta that the best summary available is “Less than the sum of its parts.”

Appena finito di vedere.
In generale, consiglio la visione a qualunque fan del primo Matrix, con almeno una certa tolleranza ai primi due seguiti.

Qualche lamentela:

- anche se la ripetizione e' uno dei temi principali, fin troppe scene d'azione sapevano di gia' visto. Mi e' piaciuta molto la grandinata.
- idem per le scazzottate. Mi e' piaciuto molto Morpheus, anche se non capisco se e' kung fu o sventolare gli arti per casa.
- quanti a tempistica, questo film andava fatto dopo 10 anni, non 20, sia per gli attori che per la rilevanza del tutto.
- con tutte le citazioni, dispiace che abbiano soltanto fatto annusare una delle scene piu' celebri,

Per il resto, secondo me con una nuova trilogia rischiano di sputtanare il salvataggio in extremis di questo film. Resurrections ha ridato un po' di dignita' al franchise, lasciamogliela
