The company also developed 3D Dot Game Heroes for the PlayStation 3. Additionally, Silicon Studio creates rendering engines used in games such as Final Fantasy XV, Gunslinger Stratos, and The Witch and the Hundred Knight.
Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi founded Mistwalker in 2004 after leaving Square Enix.
The studio has developed games such as Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, The Last Story, and Terra Battle. Sakaguchi shared concepts designs for a new project last month.
