Ma come fate con la risoluzione e il framerate?
Lo lancio in modalità compatibile altrimenti non parte proprio con Windows10.
Fullscreen 800x600... il frame rate sinceramente non mi sembra diverso da quando giocavo su Win98!

Uso il wrapper nglide + compatibilità xp su win10.
Gioco a tutto schermo, molto fluido (profilo nvidia che diminuisce la latenza).
È ovviamente pixelloso, ma freganulla!
Ah! Servono un paio di dll per abilità l'audio 3d (almeno nel mio caso)
Full screen a che risoluzione, 800x600?
E per forza, almeno se vuoi giocare online.
Offline invece puoi mettere la risoluzione che vuoi con la resolution mod.
Immagino che a 1900x1080 sia ingiocabile, con i nemici che non ti vedono da lontano...
Tra l'altro, una risoluzione maggiore viene identificata come cheat dalla Blizzard, proprio perchè puoi vedere una porzione di mappa
in più.
Inoltre, rende tutto moooooooolto piccolo
Giustamente una risoluzione superiore a 800x600 è come un cheat perché di fatto usando attacchi a distanza vedi e colpisci nemici che non reagiscono dato che il loro campo visivo è tarato per una schermata da 800x600.

Install Diablo II as you normally would. You have the option to do single player only installation, partial install or the full install.

Install patch 1.12 by double clicking on its file to extract its contents. Ensure that it installs in the Diablo II game folder when it asks to to set the installation path.
Insert the Diablo II installation CD and open it by right clicking and pressing "Explore" when it is mounted on your CD drive. This will expose all its contents, including its MPQ files. Repeat this process for the Diablo II play CD.
Drag and drop all MPQ files into the Diablo II directory on your computer. If you performed a full install earlier, you only need to copy D2Music.MPQ from the play CD. When you are finished copying all the MPQ files, you can play Diablo II without a CD.

Ovviamente ho installato tutto in locale, ma per evitare la pirateria il CD deve essere inserito. E poi io ho già la 1.12 ma ho il Lord of Destruction... ed ogni volta che lancio l'exe parte il lettore per il check. Non credo che si possa giocare su Bnet con chiavi farlocche e senza cd, o sbaglio?
Perché mettete roba non legit? Ripeto, su Win10 mettendo la compatibilità parte full-screen con audio 800x600 e frame rate standard senza spippolare nulla. Boh...
Windows10 è il miglior S.O. Microsoft dopo...dopo... Windows10.

If you installed the game from the CDs, you need to follow a few additional steps, as described in the patch.txt file in your Diablo II folder. Basically you need to copy all the ".mpq" files from the installation CDs to your Diablo II folder on the hard drive.
Downloadable Installer Support
- If all required Diablo 2 '.MPQ' files are installed on the
hard drive, the game will no longer require the CD to play.
For users that originally performed a 'Full Installation'
and wish to run without the CD, all '.MPQ' files should
be copied from the Diablo 2 CDs to the Diablo 2 directory.
Most users will only need to copy D2Music.mpq from the
Diablo 2 Play CD and/or D2xMusic.mpq from the Lord of
Destruction CD. Mac users will need to copy these music
files and rename them to 'Diablo II Music' and
'Diablo II Expansion Music' respectively.
Anyone who did not perform a 'Full Installation' will need
to re-install from CD again to ultimately play without the CD.
In this case, a 'Full Installation' is required, followed by file
copy step noted above.
