Some users suggested I try to get my game for sale on GOG, which I did try, and here's the message I got from them:
Thanks a lot for your submission and your interest in GOG.
We’ve taken a look at Gnomes vs. Fairies: Greckel's Quest, it looks like action-adventure game. Visual assets are eye-catching, and are suiting the game’s theme quite well, with colorful grass, custom swirly pattern on rocks, and cute particle effects. Gameplay looks like fun.
Unfortunately, however, we feel that the game would not be a good fit for GOG, as we think that it appears to be too niche and a bit too small in scale in terms of production value for our users, which means that we aren’t confident in its release potential on our site.
For these reasons I’m afraid we will have to pass on Gnomes vs. Fairies: Greckel's Quest.
So if you were holding out to buy my game on GOG instead of steam, you should just pick it up on steam because GOG doesn't like niche games or low production value games, which kinda bums me out, but oh well, I tried!
