Call of Duty: Modern Warfare features a new engine delivering an immersive and photo-realistic experience. The new technology utilizes the latest advancements in visual engineering, including a physically-based material system allowing for state of the art photogrammetry, a new hybrid tile based streaming system, new PBR decal rendering system, world volumetric lighting, 4K HDR, DirectX Raytracing (PC) and more as well as a new GPU geometry pipeline. Spectral rendering delivers thermal heat radiation and infrared identification for both thermal and night-vision in-game imaging. The technical investment provides a cutting edge animation and blend shape system, while the new suite of audio tools supports full Dolby ATMOS, on supported platforms, along with the latest in audio simulation effects.
Starting today, fans can pre-order the digital version of the new Modern Warfare and receive a prestige token to be used immediately in-game in Callof Duty: Black Ops 4.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is scheduled for release globally October 25th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The title features a fully-optimized PC version, developed in partnership with Beenox, which will be available exclusively on Blizzard Battle.net.

Per quanto gli scetticismi siano comprensibili in questo caso, a me questa rinascita del brand non dispiace.
Ormai era diventata una roba multi tipica dei tempi, e se invece stanno facendo una cosa tutta incentrata intorno a un nuovo concetto di multiplayer e/o una cosa piu' dedicata al singleplayer e basta...tutto di guadagnato per me (almeno in termini di interesse e curiosita' per il progetto).
Speriamo bene!

Quindi leggo partite le polemiche perché alcune situazioni nel gioco sono rese come provocate dai russi quando invece soni storicamente provocate dagli americani

Sono sorpreso dalla qualità della campagna. La migliore dell intera serie: è vero, non è che ci voglia molto, ma questa è realizzata con cura e anche un minimo di ispirazione che nelle campagne precedenti non ho mai visto. Le ultime poi erano qualcosa di imbarazzante.
Ottima anche la regia. Consiglio di giocarlo a esperto. Davvero una piacevole sorpresa. Voto 7.5

Si be, la storia è sempre filoamericana, il mio giudizio positivo è sul livello della campagna di un FPS story driven. Se fosse un film, regia a parte, gli darei ben altra valutazione, anche perché è vero che emotivamente rende bene e in maniera non superficiale gli effetti negativi della guerra(anche questa è una novità per un gioco alla Cod) però i cattivi son sempre gli altri e mai gli americani. Però è un gioco, quindi non mi sembra il caso di soffermarsi su questo.

Ah a proposito di film, ci sono livelli ispirari in maniera più o meno palese a film di guerra o eventi reali riportati nei documentari per la TV.
Ho notato almeno 2 film della Bigelow fin ora e il film sull attacco all ambasciata usa in Africa che non mi ricordo il titolo (quando vanno sul tetto).
E probabilmente ce ne sono altri

E' cosi da call of duty 2. Poi che tu non te ne sia mai accorto, lo trovo normale.
