Is journalism at times pure misinformation?
Fact 1) The vast majority of Italian researchers, in all fields, do their best to leave it for the US or the UK etc. = there is no research & innovation in Italy
Fact 2) The president of Italian judges' association has stated few days ago that politicians steal even more than in the past; only, now they are no longer ashamed of it = the politicians in Italy are the most corrupt in Western Europe
Fact 3) The catholic church has an unprecedented power = Italy is almost a clerical nation, on a par with Muslim nations, where religion and "state" are largely merged
Fact 4) Whereas for us Brits the Hillsborough jugement has been unacceptably slow, and we are ashamed of such appalling delay in offering some justice to the victims' families, in Italy Berlusconi has completely dismantled the rule of law, so that many or most trials fall into "statute of limitations" and jugements become null and void = Italy's current unelected P.M Benito Renzi, has done zero to reverse the process, Italy's justice system is comparable with that of any third world country, not Britain's.
Fact 5) Organised crime , the various mafias, "own" much or most of Italy's banking system and industrial system, and represent a security threat for the UK. That includes the catholic bank in the Vatican, a money-laundering bank since ever
Fact 6) The weakness of the state, the massive & widespread corruption are such that perhaps over 500.000 non European illegal immigrants are living there without papers, and possibly at least as many have bought false residency papers: civil servants are hugely corrupt, especially in the South, and have been selling false residency papers to Africans, Pakistanis etc. who will be entitled to settle in the UK, if we choose to remain inside the EU
Conclusion: Italy is a staggeringly under developing country, because of endemic corruption and the catholic church = Italy is a powerful reason to LEAVE THE EU, to avoid being contaminated
