Star Ocean V: Integrity and Faithlessness

Lo sviluppo del gioco, seguito della popolare saga. è stato affidato ai tri-Ace mentre il produttore resta SQUARE ENIX.
Star Ocean 5 è in arrivo per PS4 e PS3 nel corso del 2016.
Sarà ambientato su un pianeta non civilizzato di Feycreed a circa 6.000 anni luce dalla terra.
Tra i personaggi rivelati ci sono: Fedel Camus (protagonista), Miki Sorvesta (l’eroina), Lilia (secondario). Fedel sarebbe uno spadaccino e si occuperebbe di proteggere il suo villaggio, Miki è un’amica d’infanzia di Fedel e gli vuole bene con un fratello maggiore. Per quanto riguarda Lilia sembrerebbe abbia perso sia i ricordo che le emozioni…

Le battaglie saranno in tempo reale e in base alla distanza tra noi ed i nostri nemici cambierà anche il modo di combattere ed eseguire combo.

Io devo dire che avevo apprezzato molto il III, mentre il IV mi aveva annoiato a morte e non vedevo l'ora che finisse...
Questo quindi non so come inquadrarlo.
Ma non doveva uscire una remaster del primo? (o forse era del secondo?)

E dire che una volta tri-Ace faceva pure bei giochi :cattivo:

Ho approcciato la saga per la prima volta solo di recente, iniziando Star Ocean: The Last Hope. Ho trovato dei bambolotti in stile Bim Bum Bam, dei combattimenti ripetitivi, boss da abbattere a suon di exploit e una trama sui generis che dopo 10 ore non e' decollata. Alla fine l'ho mollato li'. E' un peccato perche' Tri-Ace ha fatto anche delle belle cose, Resonance of Fate non era ad alto budget ma e' tra i miei JRPG preferiti.

Kingdom of Trei’kur

East Trei’kur

Located in the easternmost part of the Kingdom of Trei’kur, East Trei’kur is a border town connected to the Western Dakaav Range, which becomes the Kingdom of Resulia. Compared to the Kingdom of Resulia, it is difficult to say the land of the Kingdom of Trei’kur is blessed, and the town of East Trei’kur compared to the streets of the Kingdom of Resulia has a dark atmosphere all around. Also, given the Kingdom of Trei’kur’s many wars and the fact that this is a border town, the town is stationed with military encampments and armaments and exudes the atmosphere of a forefront town.

Fidel, Miki, and Victor live in the Kingdom of Resulia, located in the center. Fiore belongs to the Kingdom of Langdauq, which the Kingdom of Resulia has friendly relations with. And then there’s the Kingdom of Trei’kur, which the Kingdom of Resulia is in a fierce war against.

Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on March 31, and for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe in 2016. In Japan, the game will also be available in an “Ultimate Box” edition.

Il sistema di combattimento mi ricorda The Last Remnant (che mi piacque parecchio tra l altro, sorprendendomi).

Piuttosto che giocare sta roba, mi farei infilare spilli roventi sotto le unghie.

Relia is a mysterious girl who comes across Fidel and Miki. She doesn’t have any memories or emotion, but joins Fidel and friends on their journey in order to regain them. She has a child-like way of speaking and often comforts those around her, and has taken to Miki in particular. It seems that she’s being targeted by someone.

Uscita confermata per quest'estate in USA ed Europa.

Sembra gran poca cosa ma dirò che per quanto mi riguarda sarà d1 fisso. In fondo peggio di TtEotT non potranno certo fare (a meno che non si siano messi proprio d'impegno nell'opera di demolizione della serie..) e anche un titolo in linea alla mediocrità di The Last Hope - privo di picchi ma con i suoi momenti, soprattutto assente delle gigantesche cadute di stile del terzo - saprebbe soddisfare la mia grande, grandissima voglia di nuovi jrpg; in tempo di carestia anche una putrida carcassa può soddisfare il più estremo degli appetiti.. Il BS comunque non sembra tutto da buttare via. Il problema è che tutt'ora, a dieci giorni dall'uscita nipponica, mancano hands-on e prove de facto utili a testimoniare la bontà di quanto visto. Preoccupante a dir poco..
