tempo fa avevo cercato online proprio perché avevo queste domande

no

http://ask.metafilter.com/240963/How...asterchef-work
Masterchef AustraliaTo reaffirm what others have said:
A few years ago I was a guest on an episode of Top Chef. Before this experience I thought being a judge on a cooking show would be an easy job. But I found it's hard work hard and they are masters at seeing the diamond in the rough. From my point of view every dish was cold (at best tepid) had poor texture and was obviously astily prepared. There wasn't a single thing I wanted to taste again. (Except possibly some pork that needed several more hours to cook.) Then the judges got their plates. Every single thing the judges said was true, but they were able to see past the glaring defects and give what seemed like a much more honest and definitely more nuanced critique.
In the case of Top Chef they all cooked at the same time, there was no last-minute reheating, and there was at least 30-90 minutes between preparation and serving.

Masterchef CanadaNumber 7. The question that everyone wants answered, how long is it between when the food is prepared and when the judges taste the food? A MasterChef Producer says that it can vary – sometimes the judges taste then and there, other times they taste after a short break. The judges taste various elements of all dishes during the cook when they visit the contestants' benches to ensure that they have a good understanding of the flavours and progress of each dish before they taste them in full. The food the judges taste may not always be piping hot, however they have tasted enough hot elements at the end of the cook to make a well-considered judgment. However the final score is always based on the completed dish.

AMA di quella cieca di masterchef us17. MasterChef dishes get cold, a lot. In an interview with the Toronto Star (in which he warned untalented people to not bother applying) “Demon Chef” Alvin Leung discussed some of the logistics of making MasterChef Canada. It must be true across the board for many (if not all) of the MasterChef shows in production to be sure: judges don’t always get to taste everyone’s food when it’s hot. The food gets cold due to the number of dishes that have to be tasted. Leung said because of this, sometimes all it takes is a look. Because seeing is believing, and if it looks good, it must taste good. So far this hasn’t been reported as being a problem or as being a tad bit unfair from any of the contestants — yet.

I think the editing turns all of us into one-dimensional caricatures of ourselves. E.g. I like everybody and am usually poised, but I curse like a sailor, and they took that latter part out. In the hotel breakfast service challenge, Felix was not communicating with me, but I wasn't as upset with her as the show might've made our team out to be. So everything is magnified. It took 2 months to shoot the show; we were working around the clock. Joe is intimidating and has a sarcastic sense of humor, but he's funny. Graham is exactly how he is on camera: a lovable teddy bear. ALl the judges are funny in their own ways.
BTW: Graham lascia masterchef US
E anche Graham, dopo Joe, lascia. Evidentemente Ramsay tira troppo il guinzaglio.
