It seems whomever got the monitors initially cut a deal with Samsung for them to sponsor the event, supplying monitors and obviously sponsorship money (where did this go? Why was extra money needed if It's hosted by Valve/Perfect World?). They didn't get 120hz Samsung monitors, they didn't care about what the players required just how much they could get from the deal. The monitors Valve sent are 120hz BenQ's with Samsung stickers over the BenQ logo. Looks to be the BenQ XL2420G with the "Red Hook" removed.
