Relic Entertainment potrebbe essere stato acquisito da Microsoft

Alcuni hanno pensato si potesse trattare di Age of Empires IV o magari di una nuova Definitive Edition di Age of Empires II o Age of Empires III, ma a quanto pare una fonte vicina a Microsoft Studios ha lasciato trapelare che la notizia in realtà riguarderebbe l’acquisizione di Relic Entertanment (lo studio di Age of Empires) da parte di Microsoft.
Se questa sarà la verità è ancora tutto da vedere, nel mentre sappiamo però che c’è un’altra patch in lavorazione per Age of Empires: Definitive Edition. Il gioco ha infatti passato il suo anniversario, e il team per celebrare l’avvenimento ha deciso di creare un nuovo corposo aggiornamento, l’Update 8.
Update 8 non ha ancora una data d’uscita, ma verrà pubblicato a breve.
Non ci resta a questo punto che attendere il nuovo episodio di Inside Xbox e scoprire le novità in serbo da parte di Microsoft.

Non voglio assolutamente flammare su uno dei miei strategici preferiti, anzi sono contento che aggiungeranno un ulteriore campagna in dlc.... ma, 4K a parte, è tutta roba che si trova sul workshop.
Di migliorie al gameplay non se ne parla.

Onestamente l'estetica era l'ultima cosa che dovevano toccare, per me è invecchiata benissimo.
Almeno da quel poco che si vede non mi ha dato l'impressione di gioco da browser che mi davano gli edifici della DE del primo. :bua:
edit: Per fortuna non sarà esclusiva windows store e quindi spero in eventuali correttivi dei modder. :D

No ma per gameplay intendo cose come un pathfinding un filo più evoluto dell'originale di 20 anni fa, o un attack move implementato a dovere... Niente stravolgimenti.
Per le robe estetiche c'è il workshop che è strapieno di roba fighissima.

A dire ilvero il pathfinding migliorato era la prima cosa sbandierata nel trailer d'annuncio della DE del primo, poi nei fatti (almeno al rilascio, poi non so) è peggiorato, ma è un dettaglio. :D

Il primo non l'ho giocato, ma a vedere questo mi sembra un AoE2 hd coi mod grafici :asd:
Cioè, nel 2 se muovi un'armata in A-move non sai mai cosa succederà perchè a un certo punto le unità disingaggiano il nemico e iniziano a girare a caso :bua:
Roba mai sistemata.

No, pubblico.
Già provato con Firefox, Chrome, Edge, con client steam aperto, con login sia di steam che di microsoft fatto prima di cliccare, cache cancellata.
Le ho provate tutte, non so cosa fare. Ci rinuncio, ogni tanto vado e provo.
